The Department of Classical Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin in the fall of 2024. We seek an individual with expertise in Classics or Classical Archaeology who is committed to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. The successful candidate will teach a 2:2 load: Classical Mythology (150 students) and Ancient Athletics (60 students) in both the fall and spring. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Classics or a related field by July 1. H1-B sponsorship is not available for this position.
